Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomographic procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computerized tomographic procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Monitor patient during procedure and report abnormal activity
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required
  • One or more of the following required: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
