Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shifts
Shift Details: Full-time, 12-hour daytime shifts.
Position Overview: Assist the surgeon during surgical and invasive procedures. Ensure the operating room is properly set up for each procedure. Monitor the inventory levels of all surgical instruments and supplies. Clean and sterilize all surgical tools.
Your Contributions to the Team:
- Assist the surgeon during surgical and invasive procedures.
- Ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for each procedure.
- Verify that all necessary equipment and instruments are functioning properly before each procedure.
- Perform tasks requiring technical or manual skills under the supervision of the Circulating RN.
- Complete documentation during your shift and adhere to current standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technician Program is mandatory.
- National Surgical Technician certification is required or must be obtained within one year of employment.
- Current BCLS certification is necessary.
