Club Bartender Role Summary

The Banquet Bartender position at our Leesburg, Virginia, club requires a highly skilled professional to deliver exceptional beverage production and service to our Members and guests during events. This role involves supporting all Club venues, events, and fellow Employees in delivering quality beverages and service while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Key responsibilities include preparing the bar for events, ensuring accurate liquor control, and providing excellent service recovery. The ideal candidate will possess previous bartending experience, a working knowledge of bar-related beverages, and a passion for exceeding Member expectations. Additionally, they will be available for evenings and weekends and have a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the bar for events, including setting up garnish trays, stocking juices, and filling ice bins
- Ensure accurate liquor control and provide excellent service recovery
- Possess clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer, and wines available for events
- Consistently check the bar area for cleanliness and make sure that all necessary items are in place
- Notify management of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur and practice good service recovery

About the Ideal Candidate

- Previous bartending experience is required
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Working knowledge of bar-related beverages, spirits, wine, and beer
- Working knowledge of the most common cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks
- Possesses a passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience
