Pipe Fitter

Tesla is seeking a skilled Construction Pipe Fitter to join our team in Sparks, NV. As a key member of our Engineering-Procurement-Construction project, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex piping systems. Your exceptional talent and expertise will be essential in helping us achieve our goal of advancing energy sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain piping systems, including mechanical piping and equipment installation.
• Assist with planning, material acquisition, and coordination to ensure project deadlines and cost goals are met.
• Act as an in-house construction technician, providing technical support and expertise to peers.
• Identify and communicate quality, safety, and productivity improvement opportunities.
• Engage in training on new tools, systems, equipment, and procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency and work experience with construction pipefitting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a skilled trade's certificate program and/or relevant military experience is preferred. Associate degree in engineering or technology is a plus.
• Experience with Process Piping systems (i.e. High Purity piping, orbital welding).
• Detail-oriented, positive attitude, resourceful, and able to manage shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge with piping systems, fitting installation, and applicable codes.
• Experience in safe work practices that include writing a Job Hazard Analysis, knowledge of OSHA regulations, electrical safety, chemical handling, fall protection, LOTO.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs., repetitive at times, work at elevations up to 50 ft.
