We are seeking a skilled and experienced ER Nurse to join our team at Deaconess IL - Crossroads for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department
- Critical access experience
- Must have vent experience and drip titration skills
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
The Emergency Department at Deaconess IL - Crossroads is a 10-bed unit with a 1:3-4 patient ratio. We are a hardworking and resilient team that values social candidates who can manage change well.
Additional Details- Float requirements: Float throughout the facility within skillset
- Charge experience strongly preferred, but not required
- No on-call or callback requirements
- Covid-19 vaccine not required, but subject to change
