Job Summary

The Dietary Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and employees. This role requires a passion for good food, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents and employees, adhering to established menus and recipes.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served safely, following proper food handling and food safety techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to established standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare special events and menus.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of six months' experience in large quantity food preparation; experience with therapeutic diet preparation a plus.
  • ServSafe Food Safety Certification or equivalent required.
