Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of California, Davis. The successful candidate will be a clinician/educator or clinician/researcher in the HSCP or Clin X track, respectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care as a member of our emergency department team
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in emergency medicine
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
  • Pursue research and scholarly activities in emergency medicine
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree or equivalent
  • ABEM Board Certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
  • Valid CA Medical License or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fellowship training with at least one year of post-training clinical experience
