Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with management to maintain appropriate staffing levels and skill mix across all shifts, ensuring quality patient care.
- Supervises and directs nursing staff, delegating patient care assignments based on patient needs and staff availability.
- Participates in performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and holding team members accountable for their performance.
- Addresses patient and family concerns promptly, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Acts as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, promoting professional development and adherence to clinical policies.
- Oversees the onboarding and orientation process for new clinical staff, ensuring they meet required competencies.
- Implements and monitors quality improvement initiatives, focusing on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintains compliance with safety regulations and infection control standards.
- Facilitates regular staff meetings to discuss clinical updates and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- A minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse license required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
