Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Dentist to join our team at FDIHB. As a key member of our dental program, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral health care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, including periodontal and radiographic assessments, to diagnose and treat dental diseases and abnormalities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including restorative and rehabilitative care, to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage complex medical cases and provide comprehensive care to patients with significant medical complexities.
  • Provide emergency dental treatment, including root canal therapy and extractions, as needed.
  • Offer patient education and chairside oral hygiene instruction to promote good oral health habits.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest dental techniques, research, and standards of care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted dental license from any U.S. state or territory.
  • Current, valid DEA license.
  • Experience working in a dental program or similar setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with patients of all ages, including children and adults with special needs.
  • Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
