Job Description

VadaTech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Controls Manager to oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and components required for our electro-mechanical manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions of materials into our ERP system.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials to the production floor and control the logistics of incoming and outgoing materials between facilities.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient stock and storage of materials to optimize production operations.
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
  • Address material shortages or issues that may impact production schedules and communicate with our Purchasing team.
  • Implement lean initiatives to improve material management, kitting processes, and systems to drive efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years' experience as an inventory manager or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control processes, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Work Environment:
  • Full-time position with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Office and warehouse/manufacturing floor environments.
