Job Summary:
">At Mee Memorial Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med/Surg-Certified CNA/Monitor Tech to join our team on a full-time basis. As a member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

">This position requires the ability to assist patients with their daily needs, maintain a safe and clean environment, and perform various tasks as assigned by licensed staff. You will work closely with our nursing team to ensure that patients receive personalized care that meets their unique needs and preferences.
">Responsibilities:

- Assist in Patient Preparation and Admission: Help prepare the nursing unit for new patients, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available. Assist patients during admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, using established department procedures.">
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Demonstrate competence in providing morning, evening, and general care to patients, according to established department procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort during personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.">
- Record and Report Patient Information: Accurately record and report patient information, including vital signs, treatment results, and observations, to licensed staff. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.">
- Collaborate with Licensed Staff: Work collaboratively with licensed staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in complicated treatment procedures, under the supervision of licensed staff, and demonstrate ability to follow directions and perform specific duties.">
- Maintain Professional Growth: Stay up-to-date with annual skills updates, attend educational programs, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance professional growth and development.">
Requirements:

- Certifications: Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificate and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.">
- Education: Completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant Training program.">
- Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology, basic mathematics, and spelling. Ability to write legibly and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.">
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with regular breaks and stretching exercises.">
- Special Considerations: Willingness to work with patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly/geriatric patients, and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.">
Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
