Adjunct Finance Instructor Overview

As an adjunct finance instructor, your core duties will encompass delivering educational content and maintaining a structured learning environment. Please note that adjunct instructors do not qualify for employee benefit programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in weekly feedback sessions with the designated EU administrator to discuss student and classroom matters
  • Keep precise attendance records on a daily and weekly basis
  • Reach out to students who are absent through phone communication
  • Administer initial and concluding assessments in all pertinent courses
  • Conduct necessary surveys and evaluations as required
  • Inform the registrar of any changes to the roster
  • Ensure grading criteria are accurately applied for each student
  • Comply with University policies and regulations
  • Maintain well-organized course syllabi
  • Regularly update attendance and grades
  • Conduct classes according to the established schedule
  • Arrive early and fully prepared for each instructional session
  • Be accessible to students for inquiries and guidance prior to class
  • Submit grades promptly
  • Keep classrooms in an orderly condition
  • Encourage and support students with academic challenges
  • Complete annual professional development plans
