Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Acute Pulmonary Care unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to population-specific characteristics.
  • Coordinate care through effective partnerships and ensure that care is individualized and coordinated.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support research and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
  • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff to ensure a qualified workforce.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours.
  • Direct patient care experience preferred.
