Senior Underwriting Support Coordinator, Legal Liability

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for agents and brokers, collecting necessary information for underwriters, addressing inquiries, resolving basic issues, and facilitating account servicing and business transactions that do not require underwriter approval.
- Implement measures to gather information essential for completing inquiries and transactions, while maintaining a tracking system for outstanding underwriting tasks.
- Ensure the accuracy of data entered into relevant systems and confirm that all required documentation is present in the files.
- Engage in regular communication with team members, agents, brokers, and other key stakeholders to research and compile necessary information for transaction review and completion.
- Adhere to internal guidelines, procedures, and service standards to guarantee that all assigned tasks and transactions are processed promptly and accurately, while meeting compliance requirements.
- Participate in problem-solving initiatives to identify issues, determine root causes, design and test solutions, and implement improvements using continuous enhancement methodologies.
- Under the guidance of underwriters, attach relevant forms and execute policy modifications as requested.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and foster strong connections with colleagues across the organization.
- Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned to ensure the team's efficient operation, meet customer needs, and achieve business objectives.

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook; Internet Explorer
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively after receiving training
- Strong critical thinking capabilities
- Capacity to navigate various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization, interpreting diverse instructions in written, oral, or scheduled formats
- Proven ability to produce error-free work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- Team-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days remote

The base salary for this position will be determined based on factors such as relevant education, experience, training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other considerations. The hourly rate range for the Senior Underwriting Support Specialist role is $25 - $30/hour, with a potential 5% bonus.
