About the Team

We are a dynamic and collaborative team at FST Technical Services' Commissioning (Cx) Division, dedicated to providing quality assurance in the design, construction, and post-acceptance phases of building projects. As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will be working closely with our team of experts to deliver professional services tasks for equipment in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems.

About You

You will have a strong technical background in commissioning or a related field, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in commissioning or 7+ years in a role related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls. Experience within the data center industry is a plus. Your expertise should include managing equipment interconnectivity, reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes, and identifying project scope gaps.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional services tasks for equipment in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems.
  • Manage equipment interconnectivity, including pumps, fans, motors, air ventilation, chillers, boilers, steam distribution, building automation systems, fire alarm, and wastewater systems.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes to identify project scope gaps.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HVACR, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management; or an Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, or a related field with relevant trade school, maintenance, or engineering controls experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commissioning or 7+ years in a role related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls.
  • Experience within the data center industry is a plus.
