Position Overview

Compensation Details
Estimated payment of approximately $3042.00 per week, with an hourly rate ranging from $40.00 to $47.00, depending on shift length. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on eligibility and adjustments.

Job Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting transthoracic echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Performing occasional stress echocardiograms and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms.
Equipment Utilization

Technologists will work with advanced machines including:

  • Philips Epiqs, Affinity's, and IE33's
  • GE E95 and Vived E9
Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited program with a minimum of three years of experience.
  • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RDCS (PE) or RCS.
Work Schedule

Shifts will primarily consist of clinic and hospital hours, with start times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Technologists will be on call one weekend per month and one day every other week.

Work Environment

The position is based in a 500-bed hospital with five outpatient clinic rooms.

Dress Code

Grey scrubs or provided light blue scrubs are required.
