Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for surgical patients, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify potential complications, and implement interventions to prevent adverse outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive patient experience.
- Graduate of a nursing program, BSN preferred.
- 3 years acute care experience preferred.
- Current Louisiana Registered Nursing license.
- BLS completed, ACLS completed within 3 months of hire.
- Certified Nurse of Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
