Job Description
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and ensure thorough documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take action in case of unintended medication effects.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
- A clear and active GA or compact state RN license.
- An Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
