Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Edgewell Personal Care. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect product loads for accuracy and transport to designated areas to ensure timely delivery.
  • Operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
  • Load and unload materials from pallets and skids, and perform supporting tasks on vehicles such as cleaning, watering/recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tanks.
  • Weigh materials or products, and record weight and other production data.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and make corrections as needed.
  • Operate stretch wrapping equipment and rotate stock according to date coding.
  • Follow line clearance principles when staging materials and accurately load finished goods according to documentation provided.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and utilize RF and scanning equipment effectively.
  • Thoroughly understand and comply with trailer loading and unloading guidelines, and follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP, and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of previous experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing facility.
  • Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is required.
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current CDL License is required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and read, write, and understand English, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to work across functions and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with the ability to obtain certification to safely operate mobile equipment.
  • CDL licensed driver is required.
