RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified Per Diem Registered Dietitian to join our team in Somerville, NJ.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutritional therapy to patients in a per diem capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide medical nutritional therapy
  • Identify patients at high nutritional risk and develop individualized nutrition care plans
  • Assess nutritional needs and provide education to patients and families on healthy eating habits
  • Participate in performance improvement and research activities
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian with CDR certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic
  • Masters Degree in Nutrition or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Work Environment:

This is a per diem position, with mostly weekend coverage and some weekday hours as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
