We're seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team and contribute to a new era for the Aluminum Industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for machining components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, working primarily on the ELYSIS project.
The ELYSIS process eliminates the use of carbon anodes and replaces them with proprietary materials, resulting in oxygen as its by-product and potentially transforming an entire industry. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to groundbreaking innovations.
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- A strong background in mechanical/electrical trades, preferably with an associate or bachelor's degree in a science/engineering-related field
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with proficiency in operating and setting up CNC machines programmed by G-code
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform material handling, weighing, completing process steps in sequence, and documenting process data
