Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation & Nursing. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Unit Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor residents' condition, including vital signs, fluid intake, and output, and document patient charts.
  • Administer medications, injections, and enemas as prescribed, and clean and dress wounds.
  • Collect samples for lab testing and provide emotional and psychological support to residents and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Current licensure by the State of New York.
  • Leadership and supervisory qualities, with attention to detail and observation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate team nursing assignments and provide kind, helpful, and compassionate care.
