About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team at Hays Recruitment. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing deadlines related to our company's overall tax compliance and tax accounting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage deadlines for tax compliance and tax accounting and analysis
  • Ensure accuracy and correctness of final returns, work papers, and documentation
  • Make concise conclusions on tax code interpretation, methodology, and tax positions
  • Identify audit risks and respond effectively to audit inquiries
  • Assist the Director of Tax with ad hoc reporting and research projects
Requirements
  • Active CPA license
  • Prior Public Accounting experience
  • 4+ years of Income Tax compliance and 2+ years of Income Tax Accounting (ASC 740)
  • Experience managing a team
