Server Representative

Job Summary:

A Server takes orders, answers questions about menu items, serves food and drinks to tables, communicates orders with kitchen staff, prepares checks and processes payments. Servers ensure all orders are filled quickly, accurately and that dishes are of high quality. Providing attentive service such as refilling drinks and checking other guest needs during meals is essential. Servers also promptly address any issues and refer to management if and when necessary.

• Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Presenting Menus and Making Recommendations: Present menus to guests and make recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs.
• Taking Orders: Take food and drink orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serving Food and Drinks: Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicating with Kitchen Staff: Communicate orders with kitchen staff to ensure that dishes are prepared correctly and delivered to guests promptly.
• Preparing Checks and Processing Payments: Prepare checks and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Providing Attentive Service: Provide attentive service to guests by refilling drinks, checking on their needs, and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Cleaning and Maintaining the Dining Area: Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, chairs, and other equipment.
• Stocking and Restocking Supplies: Stock and restock supplies, including linens, glassware, and other essentials.
• Performing Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with events and special functions.

• Ability to Stand for Prolonged Periods: Ability to stand for prolonged periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to Lift Up to 25 Pounds: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including knowledge of point-of-sale systems and other software.
• Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Reading and Writing Abilities: Reading and writing abilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to Work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays unless agreed upon with management.
