Job Summary:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Sioux Falls Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in all phases of care.
- Coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, and provide education to patients and families.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
