Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Intake Operator to join our team at our Hull, Iowa plant. As an Intake Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring processes, materials, and surroundings to ensure the safety and quality of incoming liquid dairy products in accordance with applicable compliance and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings to ensure safety and quality of incoming liquid dairy products
• Ensure compliance with applicable compliance and security protocols
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve quality and safety goals
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Antibiotic Testing License: to be obtained within 90 days of hire; in-house training provided
• Milk Sampling License: to be obtained within 90 days of hire; in-house training provided
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammatic instructions
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment

Where You'll Be Working:

Hull, Iowa

Our Hull, Iowa, plant is home to approximately 180 employees. We produce mozzarella, parmesan, romano, cheddar, gouda, and Monterey Jack cheeses as well as various whey streams. Agropur's US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year. We create more than 20 different varieties, and provide whey protein and dry ingredients which are by-products of the cheesemaking process.
