Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our donors.
As a Plasma Center Nurse, you will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, and reviewing laboratory test results. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our donors have a positive experience at our plasma donation centers.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on patient care and safety. You will be a team player who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent communication skills to our donors and colleagues.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility and manage donor adverse events
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results
- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent communication skills
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where responsibilities will be assigned
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
