Role Overview:
The Speech Language Pathologist will play a vital role within the Head and Neck/Multidisciplinary Team, focusing on the assessment and treatment of patients experiencing challenges related to speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
- A valid Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence are mandatory.
- Experience in Oncology care is highly preferred.
Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, evaluation and therapy methodologies, contemporary materials and technologies, as well as emerging professional trends.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality services to individuals with impairments while effectively communicating with colleagues, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
An understanding of the developmental, physical, emotional, and comfort needs of patients across all age groups will be beneficial.
