Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Seagull Book and Sweet Salt Modest Clothing. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, participating in hand-selling contests, and promoting products
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including receiving and replenishing inventory
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Seagull Book products and Sweet Salt Modest Clothing
  • Strong visual merchandising skills, particularly in clothing and home decor
  • Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to regularly move around the store and be accessible to customers
  • Comfortable engaging with customers in a genuine way
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs
