Job Title: Laboratory Technician

At Entegris, we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Analytical Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, analyzing samples, and reporting findings to laboratory management.

The Role:

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, handling sensitive equipment, and collaborating with your team to maintain daily operations, optimize lab procedures, and produce reliable results. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting laboratory testing and analyzing samples
  • Recording data and results in specified controlled forms
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly environment
  • Supporting laboratory staff by maintaining glassware, logs, and record books
  • Maintaining laboratory supplies inventory
  • Documenting information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books
  • Resolving problems by examining and evaluating data and selecting corrective steps
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with previous experience handling hazardous chemicals in a laboratory
  • Be mechanically inclined and experience operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment
  • General knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practices
  • Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of potentially dangerous substances
  • Prior experience and dedication to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
  • Strong dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
