Job Description
The Patient Accounts Specialist will work closely with our business office team to ensure seamless claims processing, reimbursement, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages claims submissions, reimbursements, and adjustments for assigned payers.
- Develops and maintains accurate and efficient billing processes.
- Communicates effectively with payers, patients, and internal stakeholders.
- Resolves billing discrepancies and denials in a timely manner.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of medical billing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
