Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage wounds for all residents in accordance with established policies.
- Revise care plans based on residents' responses to treatment and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care.
- Utilize current wound management principles when caring for residents with both acute and chronic wounds.
- Develop and implement skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown.
- Educate residents and their families on pain management strategies.
- Serve as a resource for physicians, nursing staff, and other clinical personnel.
- Conduct in-service training on wound prevention, care, ostomy management, and incontinence for nursing staff.
