Job Overview
The CMA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Care Management team, ensuring seamless communication between team members, patients, and healthcare providers. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality patient care, adhering to regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements within the team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and guide CMAs in navigating new workflows and processes to optimize patient outcomes.
  2. Maintain accurate tracking of determination letters and conduct thorough reviews before mailing.
  3. Monitor and evaluate departmental productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  4. Develop and implement training programs for CMAs, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  5. Ensure staff adherence to regulatory requirements, best practices, and internal policies and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with departmental goals and objectives.
  7. Promote a culture of open communication, teamwork, and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required; or High School Degree or evidence of having passed a High School Equivalency Program and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a managed care organization required; additional experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and managed care operational policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.

Compensation Package
This position comes with an estimated annual salary of $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience, along with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
