The firm is seeking a skilled Junior Data Scientist to join its Investment Science Team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the team's efforts to deliver high-quality insights to clients through the application of advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data science and investing professionals to analyze and interpret large datasets related to investment performance.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models that inform investment decisions.
  • Curate and integrate new data sources to enhance the firm's analytics capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply knowledge to drive innovation within the firm.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python, with experience in machine learning libraries like scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Compensation and Benefits:

Cambridge Associates offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and attractive benefits and perks.
