Special Education Instructor

Position Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Rugby, ND. This position offers the unique opportunity to teach all subjects within an intellectual disability classroom. Candidates will work with 6 students in the 5th and 6th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs and abilities.
- Provide specialized instruction in all core subjects including Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure cohesive educational experiences.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to achieve academic and developmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
- North Dakota Special Education Teacher Certification (School district will help experienced candidates with credential).
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
