Job Summary

Assistance Plus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our buildings, grounds, and vehicles, ensuring they meet or exceed current State of Maine building codes and inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician in overseeing the overall maintenance of our facilities
  • Perform varied maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid state of Maine driver's license and proof of $50k/$100k auto insurance
  • Automobile (preferably a truck) for work-related travel
  • Ability to travel to all satellite locations
