  • Identify and Report Defects: Identify and report any defects or non-conformities to the production team in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to resolve any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections and test results.
  • Develop Quality Control Procedures: Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Communicate Quality Issues: Communicate any quality issues to management in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of quality control procedures and regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using basic measuring tools and equipment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with piping, steel structures, and pressure vessel fabrication and welding inspection is preferred. Experience in preparing and organizing documentation and inspection reports is highly desirable.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
