Kitchen Expeditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Expeditor to join our culinary team at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

• Communicate effectively with the Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service to our guests.
• Ensure the quality of food items and notify management if a product does not meet specifications.
• Set up and break down work stations, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Ensure food storage areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Dispose of glass in the proper containers, adhering to safety protocols.
• Set up serving stations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
