About the Unit
The Inpatient Rehabilitation units at Chelsea Hospital care for patients requiring comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation after traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, polytrauma, or spinal cord injuries. The units are a collaborative program between Chelsea Hospital and University of Michigan Health, staffed by a team of award-winning U-M Health rehab physicians and Chelsea Hospital nurses, therapists, and specialists.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. They will also serve as a clinical resource and preceptor to other staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
Requires current Michigan Nursing License, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a BSN degree. New hires must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years. Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply.
