Radiology Technologist Opportunity at SIMEDHealth

SIMEDHealth is currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (XRT) / C-Arm and Fluoroscopy Technologist to enhance our Pain Management division.

The X-Ray Technologist (XRT) / Fluoroscopy Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic examinations for medical professionals or providing assistance during interventional pain management procedures utilizing a C-ARM system. This position demands a high level of patient care, comprehensive knowledge of radiographic techniques, and a compassionate approach towards patients. The individual will also conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure operational safety.

Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is MANDATORY
  • Current general radiographer license is MANDATORY
  • Current CPR certification is MANDATORY
  • ARRT certification is PREFERRED
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a medical or hospital environment is PREFERRED
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a general radiographer is MANDATORY
  • Experience with Intergy or other electronic health records is PREFERRED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patient consents, allergies, and anticoagulant medications
  • Input patient data into the PACS system
  • Prepare necessary trays, medications, and patients for procedures
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and C-Arm setup
  • Adhere to established safety protocols during procedures
  • Apply dressings to wounds as required
  • Monitor patient stability following procedures
  • Assist with patient transport and safety measures
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of clinic rooms and equipment
  • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines
