Job OverviewCPH, a leading engineering and architectural design firm, is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join its Sanford, Florida office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing detailed plans for roadway, streetscape, and pedestrian improvement projects using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating detailed designs for transportation projects, including roadways, streetscapes, and pedestrian improvements.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and calculate material quantities, areas, and volumes for civil engineering projects.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines, including survey, site civil, and landscape architects, to ensure project completion.
  • Prepare submittal packages for agency permitting and phased review.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a civil or roadway engineering firm, or a degree in Computer-Aided Design & Drafting with a focus on transportation design.
  • Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, with attention to detail and file management.
  • Experience in transportation design is preferred.
  • This candidate should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with FDOT Design Criteria is a plus.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
