Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist - CT to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic quality imaging procedures for our patient care population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate modality-specific technical equipment related to patient care imaging, image processing, image transmission, image archiving, and computerized electronic medical records.
  • Provide radiologists and physicians with patient history relative to the exam being performed and obtain informed consent.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, sedation/anesthesia personnel, and all staff members to ensure a safe outcome for the patient.
  • Participate in department and modality-specific quality improvement initiatives, including ACR accreditation.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and credential in Computed Tomography approved educational program.
  • Credential in Computed Tomography (CT) required no later than 6 months post-hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
