Job Summary

Porsche is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Projects and Governance Intern to join our team. As a key member of the IT Projects and Governance team, you will be responsible for assisting with project and governance activities that support all Porsche North America entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits, exams, reviews, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with the creation, implementation, and annual review of directives, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Work with IT Project Managers, business departments, and vendors to ensure completion of project deliverables and documentation.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives by assisting with plan documentation and testing.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, IT, and outside vendors to ensure that PRs, POs, and other required documents necessary to do business are completed and approved per company directives.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree in Information Technology, Information Sciences, or Business Administration.
  • Related experience preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, vendor management skills, and analytical skills.
  • Expert experience with standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, ability to multi-task, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, teamwork skills, and planning and organization skills.
