Job Title: Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing inmates/detainees/residents for mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose inmates/detainees/residents for mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified disorders.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling services to inmates/detainees/residents.
  • Make referrals to psychiatrists as necessary.
  • Evaluate inmates/detainees/residents' mental status and symptoms to determine the need for transfer or placement under observation due to suicide risk.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited University.
  • Current license in Psychology in the state in which the facility is located or licensure/certification in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Two (2) years of correctional work experience is preferred.
