Job Summary:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Randolph Hospital, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and hearing disorders. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing remedial services for communication disorders, working closely with physicians to develop treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to provide consultation services and education to healthcare professionals within the hospital and Home Health settings. Your role will be crucial in promoting community understanding of speech therapy services and providing rehabilitation services to patients with impaired communication and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with speech and hearing disorders to develop treatment plans
  • Provide remedial services for communication disorders in accordance with physician's orders
  • Consult with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on speech therapy services
  • Promote community understanding of speech therapy services
  • Provide rehabilitation services to patients with impaired communication and swallowing abilities

Qualifications:

Education/Degrees:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

License(s):
State licensure and certification in Speech Language Pathology valid in the state of North Carolina. Valid North Carolina Driver's License.

Training/Certifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Experience:
One to three years in Home Health experience preferred.
