Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and regain their communication and swallowing abilities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide therapy to maximize patient communication and swallowing abilities
  • Communicate patient progress and problems to supervisors and other team members
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology
  • Minimum of six months experience working with an adult and geriatric population
  • Current and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
