About the RoleThis position involves working 7 days on and 7 days off, with a rotation of 7pm-7am shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing critical care patients, responding to Vocera messages and phone calls, and completing history and physical examinations on critical care admissions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage critical care patients
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
- Manage electronic health records
- Active Texas licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification in Acute Care Nursing
- Strong background in critical care and pulmonary medicine is required
- Degree in NP studies from an accredited program
