Process Planner

The Process Planner develops and implements manufacturing plans to ensure the timely completion of fabrication projects for Graham Corporation and Subsidiaries. This role requires strong coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including project engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, including routings and shop orders, to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with supply chain and purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials and meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for process planning.
- High School Diploma; Associate's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related Science field preferred.
- 3+ years of manufacturing-related process planning experience in an engineer-to-order environment; or 5+ years of fabrication experience (welding preferred) in lieu of process planning experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering product structures, and customer specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including spreadsheet, word, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
