Job Summary:

The Pacific Air Forces is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team. As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, and emptying trash and recyclables.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and steam cleaners.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Perform special cleaning tasks as assigned, such as cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, including setting up tables, chairs, and other equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in custodial work or a related field.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The Custodial Worker will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The position also requires standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds.
