We're seeking a talented Principal Machine Learning Performance Engineer to join our team at AMD. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll focus on optimizing machine learning workloads for various hardware configurations, collaborating with customers and business units to drive performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain performance models for ML training and inference workloads
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to design and optimize ML workloads for future hardware
- Communicate and present performance analysis and modeling results to stakeholders
- Develop and improve our framework, tools, and infrastructure for performance estimation and reporting
- Strong technical expertise in performance analysis, projection, and hardware architecture
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience with C++ coding
- PhD or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
